Role Overview: As an HR Specialist, you will provide support in various HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. You will also assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs.

As an HR Specialist, you will provide support in various HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. You will also assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. 1.     Reporting and Insights
  • maintain HR reports, including headcount, turnover, weekly NTE cases, and ECN tracker.
  • provide insights and recommendations to HR leadership for staff/site improvement
  1. 2.     HR Project Support
  • Support the implementation of HR initiatives and programs, such as employee welfare, surveys, and training programs.
  • collaborate with HR team members to ensure successful project implementation and execution.
  1. 3.     Compliance and Risk Management
  • ensure compliance with relevant employment labour laws, and company policies and procedures.
  • Identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  1. 4.     Employee Data Management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data, including personal files, benefits, and compensation.
  • Ensure proper filing of employee documents, both physical and digital, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare job letters for employees as per request.
  1. 5.     Employee Relations
  • Assist in employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and employee communications.
  • Administer employee disciplinary matters, including investigations, hearings, documentation, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
  1. 6.     Employee Support and Guidance
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Escalate complex employee issues to HR management or other relevant stakeholders as needed.
  • Process employee time-off requests, including vacation, sick leave, and any other types of leaves.
  • Conduct focus group sessions and report feedback

 

 

  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation programs to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and insights on employee turnover and retention.
  • Ensure the HR bulletin board is up-to-date and accurately reflects company policies, benefits, and other important employee information.
