We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Services Administrator to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:

The HR Services Administrator has responsibility for supervision and administration of the day-to-day transactional activities of the HR Services Team, and serves as a functional knowledge resource to team members who are focused on core HR processes.  The individual also has functional accountability for matters related to the HRMIS, HR analytics and associated reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in managing the delivery and execution of transactional HR services and core HR processes to ensure that the team meets its objectives in providing high quality and consistent HR service.
  • Provide end-to-end HR transactional services to the business in line with policy and service standards.
  • Organize the onboarding process for all new recruits ensuring essential HR related matters such as ID, lunch arrangements and benefit enrolments are completed and, by way of liaison with managers, that matters of workstation, connectivity and essential tools are provided.
  • Oversee the effective administration of all employee benefits plans to ensure that all eligible employees are enrolled to the respective plans, required adjustments are completed and payments are made to the providers on a timely basis.
  • Ensure the preparation and maintenance of reports as necessary to carry out the functions of the department and organize the preparation of periodic reports and analytics for management as requested.
  • Supervise the order, purchasing and distribution of uniforms for the Administrative areas according to the established cycle.
  • Provide supervision for the execution of the Summer Employment Programme.
  • Administer HR recordkeeping – ensuring accuracy and currency of employee information based on established standards.
  • Conduct training and monitor use, compliance, and accuracy of the HRIS used as part of the critical employee records management process.
  • Ensure that the HRIS is accurate and up to date by way of structured audits and regular system reviews.
  • Support efforts in developing, leading, and motivating the HR Services team through coaching; influencing them to take positive action and maintain accountability for their assigned work.
  • Develop cross-functional partnership with internal and external HR business partners and manage relationship with key business stakeholders including vendors.
  • Ensure an excellent customer experience measured through quality monitoring that supports the business.
  • Other duties that may be assigned within the scope of the job.

Required Qualification, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Education: First Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: At least three (3) years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a human resource shared services environment.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Jamaican Labour Laws.
  • Skills:
    • Analytical with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
    • Strong attention to detail, discretion, and professional judgment.
    • People-oriented, results-driven, with excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build trust, maintain confidentiality, and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Experience in customer-focused environments and achieving performance targets.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including report and presentation preparation.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with HR metrics, data analytics, and HR systems/databases.
