About the Role:
The HR Officer supports both strategic and operational aspects of the Human Resources function. The role collaborates with senior management on HR initiatives while directly managing day-to-day HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with managers and leadership to execute HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Assist in developing talent management strategies to meet current and future workforce needs.
- Provide insights through HR data and metrics to support decision-making at a strategic level.
- Contribute to culture-building initiatives and organizational change efforts.
- Support the CEO and senior managers in addressing complex employee relations issues.
Manage Day-to-Day HR Operations
- Coordinate recruitment efforts and partner with hiring managers to meet staffing needs.
- Conduct new hire onboarding to ensure employee engagement from day one.
- Administer performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback cycles.
- Deliver training programmes to address skill gaps and promote employee development.
- Support employee relations, resolving conflicts, and handling grievances efficiently.
- Provide day-to-day support to managers on disciplinary actions, coaching, and counseling.
HR Administration & Compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of HR processes, policies, and documentation.
- Maintain compliance with labour laws and company policies, advising managers as needed.
- Manage HR budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Oversee HR reporting, records management, and employee data accuracy.

- Analytical mindset with experience in using HR metrics for insights.
- Sound knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- At least three (3) years' experience in an HR generalist role, with exposure to both strategic and operational tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to support senior management while managing day-to-day HR operations.
