Guardsman Security Limited is looking for a Temporary HR Associate

About the Role:

Guardsman Security Limited is looking for a Temporary HR Associate to provide administrative support in contract management, employee records, identification management, and separation processes. This role ensures the smooth operation of HR Shared Services (HRSS) by maintaining confidentiality, efficiency, and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Administration & Employee Support

  • Assist in staff recruitment, employee transfers, and issue resolution.
  • Prepare, renew, and track employment contracts within required timelines.
  • Process and update employee leave entitlements (sick, vacation, etc.) in the HR system.
  • Support employee benefits administration, including medical claims and health card distribution.

Records Management & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical employee records.
  • Process offboarding and retirement transitions while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate medical care support and liaise with employees’ next-of-kin when necessary.

Payroll & Uniform Coordination

  • Notify payroll of contract terminations, new hires, and leave adjustments.
  • Oversee uniform issuance, returns, and vendor orders.

Employee Engagement & HR Projects

  • Assist in team-building activities, employee satisfaction initiatives, and HR projects.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to employees experiencing workplace challenges.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • A team player who takes initiative and can multi-task effectively.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1+ years’ experience in general administration or HR support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong record-keeping skills.

Work Conditions & Schedule:

  • Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
  • Occasional weekend or extended hours may be required based on HR needs.
