Job Summary

The HR Administrator - Compensation, Benefits, Systems and Administration, will be responsible for directing and planning the operations for employee data, payroll, and group benefits management in compliance with all relevant Social Security, Labour, Insurance, and Tax regulations or requirements.

.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervision of the Payroll and Benefits Administration Unit
  • Manage the Benefits Management System
  • Manage the HRIS Payroll
  • Works closely with the Accounting Department
  • Ensure adequate reporting and documentation of the work produced by the Payroll and Benefits Unit
  • Provide Payroll and Benefits advising to all levels of Staff and Management
  • Ensure the work of the HR Department maintains the highest standards
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of all who interact with the HR Department 
  • Protect the interest and reputation of the Company
  • Analyze payroll data and provide insights, forecasts and trends

 

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Assist in achieving HR related projects
  • Assist in preparing the Department’s budget
  • Assist in Managing the Warren Tyson Scholarship Programme
  • Assist in reviewing and updating the department’s policies and procedures
  • Perform any other duties as required by the Department/Company

 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or HR, Certificate in Compensation and Benefits Management a Plus

 

  • Experience: The HR Administrator - Compensation, Benefits, Systems and Administration should have 7 years relevant working experience as a Payroll and Benefits Manager, Senior Officer or Specialist, mature in thinking and Highly Confidential

 

  • Professional qualification: Compensation and Benefits Certification encouraged to be attained within the first three (3) years of employment.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong Supervisory Management Skills
  • Excellent Data Analytical Skills
  • Exceptional knowledge of payroll management and pay cycles
  • Excellent knowledge/familiarity with current Social Security, Employment and or Labor Laws in St. Kitts and Nevis
  • Familiarity with different kinds of benefits and incentive pay systems
  • Excellent abilities to navigate HRIS Systems
  • Strictly adheres to deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Computer literacy skills to accomplish work
  • Excellent time-management, coordination and organizational skills
  • Customer centric and client focused
  • Ability to effectively engage employees, problem solve, build relationships and provide advice 
  • Strong numerical and quantitative analysis skills
  • Trustworthy
  • Mature in thinking
  • Highly Confidential
