Boutique Hotel located in Kingston, Jamaica, is seeking warm, enthusiastic, service-oriented individuals with a great attitude to join our team in the following roles:

  • Server
  • Bar Porter
  • Groundsman
  • Team Lead- Bar

 

Sever candidate requirements:

  • NVQ-J Level 1 or 2 certificate in Food and Beverage  or similar certification from a recognized training institution
  • Three CXC subjects including English Language
  • For bartending, mixology certification or experience an asset.
  • At least one year experience in a similar capacity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment 
  • Food handlers permit is required

Bar Porter Requirements:

  • Great attitude.
  • Previous experience in any area of hospitality is an advantage
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organised bar area
  • Flexibility
  • Physical ability to lift objects
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Groundsman Requirements:
  • Ability to perform manual labour while workinig outdoors
  • Previous experience in a similar capacity preferred
  • Familiarity with landscaping tools and machinery
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as a part of a team
Team Lead- Bar Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant environment
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Comprehensive knoweledge of bar operations
  • Customer Service excellence
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good financial acumen
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Organised
  • Hospitality Degree, Diploma, or certification required
