HEAVY DUTY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty machinery and equipment.
• Prepare written reports on the status of all equipment.

• Perform Daily pre-use service to equipment using the appropriate checklists.

• Adhere to Fluid Contamination Control Guidelines.

  Maintain tidy workshop and equipment maintenance/repair area: work environment should be free of all defective parts, consumable containers, waste rags, old lubricants, solvents and debris which may be generated due to maintenance/repair activities.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to ensure seamless operations.
• Follow safety standards and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 Years proven experience working on heavy-duty equipment such as excavators, backhoes, Rollers, trucks, front-end loaders, and related machinery.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Relevant trade qualification or certification
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
