Job Summary

The successful candidate will support internal clients in achieving their business agenda by identifying/developing and implementing HR solutions specific to their needs, delivering HR services and partnering with Management to drive Performance Management, Employee and Industrial Relations, Succession Planning, Change Management, Learning and Development and Employee Reward initiatives. 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Providing support for the sourcing/recruitment of talent.
  • Facilitating change management initiatives utilizing available tools and techniques to manage the change process.
  • Functioning as Subject Matter Expert for the CDPL Group’s HRIS; providing HRIS guidance and support to HR teams across the CDPL Group and guiding the implementation process.
  • Ensuring the on-going maintenance and accuracy of the HRIS.
  • Providing Performance Management coaching and support; being a driver for performance improvement.
  • Ensuring that training plans are developed and implemented arising out of the Performance Management process.
  • Guiding and providing support for Employee and Industrial Relations matters ensuring that due process is followed and providing support for the Collective Bargaining process, as required.
  • Providing leadership for the Company’s Employee Engagement activities.
  • Providing guidance on HR Policies and Procedures, their interpretation and application.
  • Ensuring that HR administrative services are effectively and efficiently delivered. 

Position Requirements: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree and a post-graduate degree in Human Resources Management.
  • A minimum of five (5) years HR generalist experience
  • Experience in the development and implementation of HR policies and programs.
  • HRIS Administrator experience would be considered an asset.
  • Industrial Relations experience and knowledge of Labour Laws are required.
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent problem analysis and solving skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching and consulting.
