Our client, a dynamic and reputable company, is looking for a vibrant and accomplished HR generalist to join their team as Group Human Resources Manager to oversee all human resources operations. We are interested in you if you are an HR Professional having successfully progressed through HR roles thus attaining generalist experience that will allow for the successful leadership of all areas of the Human Resources Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with leadership to drive the recent company rebranding and system transformation.
The preferred candidate will be required to:
- Manage all activities associated with human resources from organization entry to exit, including, recruitment & selection, on-boarding, training & development, compensation, employee relations, career planning and development, succession planning, recognition and separation
- Develop, implement and maintain contemporary human resources policies and programmes that are in alignment with best practice and business objectives.
- Monitor compliance with Human Resource Policies and Procedures
- Manages a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; and recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
- Have a business partner mindset for working with the leadership, supporting the Chairman and Senior Executives in all aspects of Human Resource Management for the business.
- Considering the recent company rebranding, effectively shape organizational culture and build employee capabilities that stay pace with change.
- Champion the modernization of the company/HR and automation of all people processes/information
- Oversee the implementation of a new Human Resource Information System and drive employee adaptation
- Be change-ready, agile, innovative and flexible – bringing a fresh approach to HR.
- Be focused on improving performance and productivity.
- Provide advice and support to all Business Units regarding employee matters
- Be knowledgeable of local labour laws and how to apply them when necessary
- Demonstrate emotional intelligence, be able to build relationships and interact with all staff at all levels; manage staff issues effectively and with confidentiality
- Must be willing to work in a faith-based international logistics environment
The preferred candidate should have:
- A first degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Organizational Development or equivalent qualifications.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ progressive experience in the HR field; three (3) of which should be in a managerial capacity
- 3+ years of experience in Labour Relations and Employee Relations
- Knowledge of local labour laws and how to apply them
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Results-driven with a commercial mindset.
- Excellent people management and relationship building skills.
- Experience collaborating across multiple departments and teams
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in change management
- Knowledge of and/or experience with HRIS
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information, always demonstrating integrity
