key duties involve producing graphics, images, branding, animations, or special effects for a variety of mediums, including video, advertisements, websites, publications, print, channel branding, print media and social media

Responsibilities

  • Produce creative content for multi-channel communications, such as digital platforms, videos, print materials and signage.
  • Ability to arrange design elements harmoniously and effective use of space.
  • Knowledge of different fonts, their characteristics, and appropriate use.
  • Understanding of color psychology, color harmonies, and the ability to choose and combine colors effectively in designs.
  • Proficient in editing and manipulating images and optimizing for different mediums.
  • Capability to create original illustrations or graphics by hand or using digital tools.
  • Knowledge of brand guidelines and the ability to create consistent visual identities, including logos, brand elements, and style guides.
  • Proficient with the requirements and specifications for both print and digital mediums, including designing for websites, social media, and print collateral.
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles to create designs that are intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
  • Provide web designs to update group company websites as needed.
  • Capture photographs, video content, onsite and offsite, edit and produce a finished product with complimentary voice overs, audio, visual effects and titles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively understand requirements, present design ideas, and collaborate with team members, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality in design work.
  • A willingness to stay updated with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments, and a commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement.

Minimum Acceptable Academic/Technical/Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline.

Minimum number of years of relevant experience

  • Three or more years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency or part of a marketing team.
  • Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems.
  • Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software.
  • Videography experience and proficient in post-production and related software.
  • Mastery of design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other relevant tools used for creating visual designs.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team.
