GRAPHIC DESIGN & DIGITAL MEDIA SPECIALIST

Responsibilities include:

Graphic Design

  • Create visually compelling and on-brand graphics for digital platforms, including social media, website, and email campaigns.
  • Design promotional materials for events, fundraisers, and other organizational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in visual communication.

Website Monitoring Content Updates

  • Monitor, report on and drive website traffic.
  • Facilitate website updates and liaise with Web Development company as needed.

Social Media Management

  • Manage and curate content calendars for all social media channels.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms.
  • Pull Digital/Social Media reports, analyse performance and create strategies to meet company objectives and report on same.

Social Media Content Creation

  • Develop engaging and shareable content for various social media platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Generate multimedia content, including articles, images, videos, and infographics, that resonates with our target audience.
  • Stay informed about social media trends and implement strategies to enhance our online presence.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or relevant field is preferred.
  • At least three (3) years’ working experience.
  • Mastery of graphic designing tools including but not limited to Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Portfolio of published content (motion graphics, still images, videos, infographics, etc)
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
  • Experience with content management systems and basic to intermediate knowledge of SEO principles is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
