GRAPHIC DESIGNER/PRINT TECHNICIAN

A full-time, talented, creative and flexible graphic artist is needed for a small, innovative Design and Digital print business in Kingston.

Applicant must be able to:

• Think outside the box
• Be organized and have excellent time management skills
• Display keen eye for detail
• Work well under pressure
• Meet deadlines
• Must be customer focused and very responsive.
• Must be a teamplayer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Understanding client request to be able to deliver on their printing needs
• Setup jobs for small and large format digital printing using pagination, data merging, standard digital print setup
• Creating and designing artwork for clients needs

Required Skills and Competencies

• Creativity and ability to think outside the box
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and ability to problem solve
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Required Qualifications/Experience

• Minimum Associate Degree
• 3 years of experience in graphic design (open to self-taught persons)
• Experience with multifunction digital printers
• Mastery of InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Proficent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
