About the role:

We’re looking for a Graduate Engineer (Trainee) with a passion for service and growth. This is an entry level position that is intended to develop your complete understanding of the functions within the organization, while maintaining full compliance with internal and external quality and EHS standard. As Graduate (Trainee) you will be involved with and trained in all aspects of the business with an interest to develop into a Project/Operations Manager: An Interest in Project Management, Telecoms, Electrical and Construction and Test & Commissioning is desired. The position also requires supporting and managing tasks associated with Management of Change projects for maintenance and operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Scheduling using MS Project or Primavera.
• Preparing Project Estimates.
• Project Reporting, Weekly and Monthly
• Material take-Off’s from Drawings and Scope of Works.
• Materials & Equipment requisitions and Procurement
• Workforce Management Systems
• Fleet Maintenance Management and Scheduling
• Project Quality and EHS Monitoring
• Client Relations
• Project Management and Supervision
• Commercial Aspects P&L.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or Project Management or related field
• Undergoing or completion of a recognised PM Couse such as PMP Certification would be an advantage
• Be of outstanding good character – references required
• An appropriate combination of qualifications and experience.
• Excellent literacy, numeric, and IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• A self-starter who likes challenges with a willingness to learn
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Have the flexibility to propose and implement your own ideas and solutions to challenging problems
• Receive mentoring and guidance from experienced Managers
• Decisive, self – motivated with excellent time management skills
• Valid driver’s licence an asset with a clean background
• Flexibility to work in line with business requirements
