About Us: KPMG Jamaica's delivery center, Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS), located in Kingston, is dedicated to providing professional services and support to KPMG United States. We are committed to excellence and innovation, and we are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Global Service Transition Specialist.

Job Summary: As a Global Service Transition Specialist operating at the assistant manager job level, you will play a crucial role in supporting our firm's broader transformation strategy. You will work closely with various teams to ensure alignment and collaboration across different functions and regions. Your expertise in project management, business development, strategy, sourcing advisory, outsourcing/offshoring, service provider management, and program management will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business teams to identify processes that can be supported from global delivery centers and develop recommendations for location.
• Manage the end-to-end transition of scope going to global delivery centers, including staffing, enabling technology, contracting, onboarding, and training.
• Support hyper-care and stabilization activities post go-live to ensure transition objectives are met.
• Assist with developing status reports and management updates as necessary.
• Partner with Information Technology, Digital Security, Legal, and Risk Management to ensure services are delivered in compliance with government regulations, client contractual provisions, and Firm policies.
• Support the analysis of complex contractual, regulatory, and licensing issues related to third-party relationships.
• Understand and appreciate diverse cultures and managerial norms of service providers, and create awareness of best practices to improve service delivery outcomes.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

• Our team is using a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility between working from home in Jamaica and being in the office. You will be required to spend a minimum of five days each month in the office, though this number may increase depending on business needs
• Expected to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to be using information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities.
• May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays.
