Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead the expansion of our restaurant business. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the restaurant industry, and a proven track record in managing operations and driving growth. This role involves strategic planning, operational excellence, team management, and community engagement to enhance our brand presence and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement expansion strategies that align with the company’s vision and market trends.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and assess potential locations for expansion.
2. Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations of existing and new restaurant locations, ensuring adherence to company standards and operational excellence.
- Implement and maintain efficient processes to enhance service quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
3. Financial Oversight:
- Prepare and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and performance reports for all locations.
- Analyse financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
4. Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing management team and staff across all locations.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.
5. Marketing and Community Engagement:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies for new openings and existing locations.
- Build and maintain relationships with local communities, suppliers, and stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and loyalty.
6. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Regularly assess customer feedback and operational performance to drive improvements.
7. Reporting and Analytics:
- Provide regular reports to senior management on operational performance, expansion progress, and market trends.
- Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in restaurant management, with a focus on expansion or multi-unit operations.
