The General Manager will work with all department managers and their teams to ensure the day-to-day operations of the Hotel are carried out efficiently to ensure guests' satisfaction which is of paramount importance.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee all hotel operations and drive excellence in guest satisfaction, staff management, and business growth. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for hospitality and a strategic mindset to enhance overall hotel performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management:
    • Work closely with all department managers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and guest experience.
    • Oversee daily bookings and reservations, ensuring guest needs are met.
  2. Staff Leadership & Development:
    • Manage staff rostering across all departments.
    • Oversee the hiring and training process for all hotel employees.
    • Motivate and lead the team to maintain high performance and service standards.
  3. Guest Relations & Customer Service:
    • Interact with guests along with the Guest Relations team to ensure satisfaction.
    • Address and resolve guest concerns effectively and professionally.
  4. Strategic Growth & Financial Oversight:
    • Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and revenue.
    • Work with the Accounting and Administrative teams to manage budgets and expenses.
  5. Property Maintenance & Crisis Management:
    • Collaborate with department managers to maintain the entire property.
    • Be available 24/7 to respond to urgent matters and problem resolution.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • BSc in Business Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategies for business growth and efficiency.
