General Manager - Destination Management Company

General Manager

1. Measure and evaluate sales performance
2. Verify compliance with supplier contracts are in force
3. Promoting new products or services to increase the profitability and benefits of the company
4. Verify the updates of rates in the contracts of suppliers for excursions and transportation
5. Supplier contract management
6. Ensure rates are updated in the operating systems of the company
7. Ensure compliance with sales objectives and targets (supervisors)
8. Ensure the correct and proper use of company resources
9. Guarantee success in negotiations with suppliers and wholesalers.
10. Promoting good working environment
11. Boost areas of opportunity and improvement for the company
12. Participate in meetings with the corporate members for the analysis and implementation of improvements in the Company
13. Control of the cost of transportation services
14. Ensure service to customers according to quality parameters set by TTOO
15. Prepares weekly revenue report
16. Provides information as well as necessarry resources in order for supervisors/account executives to carry out their job functions
17. Evaluate and analyze sales, be creative in developing new sources of revenue
18. Take part in representing the company in overseas trade shows and event, when required
19. Review and approve the purchasing requests according to the authorized budget
20. Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly reports with notes or explanations to variations to the Income Statement
21. Review the income statement with the Financial Comptroller
22. To Plan and coordinate budget
23. Present and explain budget
24. Close communication with Managing Director and/or Assistant
25. Support processes related to Human Capital: Recruitment, Hiring, Training, Termination, Uniforms, Salary Analysis and payroll budget.
26. Ensure excellent work atmosphere in and out of office space
27. To monitor and ascertain the correct application of the established Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines, especially those of the operational area and internal control affairs
REPORTS TO: Managing Director
OVERSEES: Account Executives, Reservation Department and Operations Department.
ACADEMIC DEGREE: Bachelor’s degree in business management or hospitality.
SKILLS: Leadership, resourceful, effective face to face communication, decision making at critical moments, objectivity, driving groups towards achieving organizational and personal goals, attitudes of commitment, respect, ethics, self-improvement and innovation.
KNOWLEDGE: Experience in the travel industry, strategic management, financial resources management, human resources management and extensive experience in negotiations of contracts and legal procedures.
TRAINING: Business management, sales, operation of TTOO and System Quality.
