General Insurance Assistant

ROLE

• Providing administrative support to the Dept
• Ensuring clients are provided with written confirmation of renewal instructions on or before renewal/coverage effective date.
• Ensuring clients are provided with cover notes/certificates/policy documents in a timely manner.
• Overseeing the maintenance of client files in a manner that allows easy and efficient access to information.
• Ensuring that clients’ details and instructions are documented, actioned and uploaded.
• Work closely with Accounts Dept to ensure insurance premiums are collected promptly and that payment schedules are consistent with the company’s policy.

 Qualifications and Experience

• Degree from a recognized university in business management, marketing or other related discipline.
• Passes in the relevant Insurance Salesman exams from the College of Insurance as required by industry regulations.
• Fit and Proper registration with the Financial Services Commission would be an asset.
• Three (3) years’ experience or more working in the General Insurance Industry.
• Must pay attention to detail – accurate and thorough.
• Should be mature and responsible and be able to accomplish deadlined results with minimal supervision.
