We are currently hiring for the following key role:

 

Garde Manger

    Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years as a Garde Manger or in a similar cold kitchen role within a luxury hotel.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cold food preparation techniques, garnishing, and food presentation.
  • Excellent knife skills, plating techniques, and knowledge of fresh ingredients.
  • Ability to create visually stunning and high-quality dishes.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Passion for culinary arts and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment.
  • Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality salads, charcuterie, pâtés, terrines, hors d’oeuvres, and other cold dishes.
  • Maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, following all food safety regulations.
  • Ensure visually appealing and creative plating to enhance the guest dining experience.
  • Monitor ingredients, minimize waste, and manage stock levels efficiently.
  • Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations and menu consistency.
  • Ensure all cold dishes meet high standards of taste, texture, and freshness.
  • Oversee the proper handling and upkeep of kitchen tools and equipment.
