Supreme Ventures Gaming Limited, a subsidiary of Supreme Ventures Limited is seeking to identify suitable candidates to fill the role of Gaming Hostess. The ideal candidate possess at least one (1) year in a similar role, has a winning attitude and is an excellent team player. . He/She will ensure that customers are provided with complimentary amenities once actively gaming and performs his/her role in tandem with company guidelines. A casino host/hostess is expected to present the premier level of guest service by welcoming all casino guests individually and nicely with an optimistic, amiable, and cheery temperament. His/her role is to please the players and ensure compliance to casino rules, regulations, procedures and policies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent customer service and an appreciation of the importance of customer service. Prior customer service experience is an asset.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a restaurant or customer service environment.
• Have working knowledge of Micros Systems or experience with standard point of sale systems
• 3 O’level/CXC/CSEC subjects
• Possess an up to date Food Handler Permit

Key Functions:

The host/hostess demands lots of enthusiasm, energy and people skills because a host spends most of their time on their feet intermingling with guests and staff.

The Host/Hostess must be:

• Knowledgeable about the casino’s activities and promotions to enable him/her solve customer issues.
• Ensure the gamingfloor is always clean by removing any used glasses and/or plates.
• Offer and control complimentary food and drinks to active gamers.
• Work with housekeeping to ensure the gaming floor is kept clean and orderly.
• Explain how games are played, upsell and/or offer alternative games if a customer is not winning/dissatisfied.
• Follow up and escalate issues if unable to solve.
• Display the highest level of discretion and show absolute respect of the confidential information he/she may have access to. 
• Ensure grooming and deportment is in accordance with the expectations of Prime Sports Limited and is aligned with the procedures mandated by the Ministry Of Health.
•  Have a working knowledge of the POS System and be fully aware of all items on the complimentary   list, ensuring compliance and directing special requests to the Guest Services Manager for handling.

 Special Considerations: 

 This role requires persons to operate on a shift system and entails work to be done on weekends, public holidays and late nights. Overtime may be necessary during special events
