To provide high quality customer service by supervising and controlling all front office areas to the standards laid down by the company, maximizing revenues and profits to agreed budgetary limits under the direction of the Manager, Hotel and Marina.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and coordinate the operation of the Front Desk.
Maintain corporate standards, ensuring that they are adhered to at all times.
Ensure that all staff know procedures and standards required within their sections and keeping workstation tidy at all times.
Ensure proper staff attitude towards guests.
Promote cooperation between the Front Office and all other departments.
Coordinate with the Housekeeping department in all pertinent information to ensure a smooth running operation.
Aid guests with inquiries, requests and complaints.
Requisition supplies and equipment for the Front Office and maintain a monthly inventory of the supplies.
Schedule all personnel in the department.
Assist in training new staff in the Front Office.
Ensure that company policies are always adhered to.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manger.
Will occasionally be called upon to perform night audit duties.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
5 CXC Passes including English Language and Mathematics.
Computer Literate.
Knowledge of a foreign language (an asset).
Hospitality experience and/or education.
GENERAL
1. Hours of Work: Normal workweek shall consist of forty hours, Sunday to Saturday on a shift basis. However, from time to time you may be required to work longer hours.
2. Allocation of Time: It is the employee’s personal responsibility, within the framework of the tasks he/she has been set, to ensure that his/her time is distributed between tasks in the most advantageous way to the overall benefit of the Company.
3. Customer Relations: The employee is to communicate courteously and effectively with customers at all levels and make best efforts to assist, so as to ensure that the Company’s image is always protected and maintained at the highest possible level.
