Your profile:

As a French Teacher, your aim is to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment where 
students can develop  both  their  language  skills  and  a  deeper appreciation for French 
culture. You will focus on helping students  build  a  strong  foundation  in  grammar, vocabulary 
and pronunciation while encouraging them to use French in practical contexts such as through 
conversations, reading authentic materials and exploring French media.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in education or relevant field such as French language and literature; Teaching Certificate is a must.
• A strong command of French grammar, vocabulary and syntax is crucial.
• Ability to design well-structured lesson plans that align with CXC curriculum and engage students at different levels.
• The ability to explain difficult concepts in a simple, accessible way, using clear and accurate French.
• Familiarity with digital tools and platforms and online resources for language learning.

Tasks:

• Develop detailed lesson plans that aligns with CXC curriculum.
• Prepare teaching materials such as handouts, slides and reading assignments.
• Assessing student progress through test, essays and oral presentations.
• Teach students to improve their language skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment by setting clear expectations for behavior, managing disruptions and creating a space where students feel safe to participate and express themselves.
