Frame Stylist/Optical Dispenser
We are seeking an experience Optical Dispense who can portray a positive image of self and of company. He/She must be able to give prompt, reliable, courteous service to both external and internal customers at all times. If you can deliver highly developed world class service to existing and potential customers, make required contributions to the effective and efficient operations of the company, then you may be the person we are looking for.

What would you do? - The Specifics
1. Greet customers, update records and maintain appointment book.
2. Ensure customers understand what was done for them while they were in the office, what is going to be done next and by whom.
3. Respond to customer queries.
4. Maintain stock, ensuring displays always full & items displayed appropriately
5. Dispense – advise on frames, lenses, contact lenses, sunglasses, sport/safety eyewear, ensuring that you possess current knowledge of products available, costs and lead time for supply.
6. Perform adjustments & repairs to customer’s eyewear
7. Produce and order jobs (eyewear, contact lenses etc.)
8. Send out reminders, post, e-mail, SMS.
9. Interpret optical prescriptions written by Optometrists or Ophthalmologists.
10. Take frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning.
11. Advise patients when adjustments or repairs to spectacles are needed.
12. Check lenses on delivery to ensure that they meet the required specifications.
13. Teach patients proper insertion, removal and care of contact lenses.
14. Measure, fit and adapt lenses and frames for client according to written optical prescription or specification.
15. Collect payment for service
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
· Proficiency in the use of PC software
· Three (3) CXC/GCE O’Level subjects including English Language.
· At least two (2) years’ working experience in a customer service driven environment.
