Progressive Distributors Ltd. (PDL) was launched in February of 2003 as the result of a merger of Kirkconnell Brothers Ltd, Foster Brothers Ltd and Fosters Food Fair Wholesale operations. The original companies which make up PDL are also companies which helped shape and develop the Cayman Islands. The Kirkconnell Family has been in the wholesale business in Grand Cayman since 1963. Foster Brothers Ltd was founded in 1967 by Steve and David Foster, and grew to become a successful business enterprise built on the twin foundations of efficient and ethical business practices.
Through the prudent use of technology, sound business practices and a long relationship with the community it serves, PDL, is able to offer its customers competitive pricing, reliable service and knowledgeable support. After decades in business, the second generation of the Foster family is driving the management of the company.
