We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Food and Beverage Manager with culinary (cooking) skills to oversee the culinary operations at our main branch and catering/off-site operations.

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, catering contracts and other related business activities to ensure quality and consistent products, seamless service, and a healthy and safe environment for everyone.
  • Coordinate with the Chefs and Line Cooks to maintain consistent food presentation, quality, and freshness throughout the service period.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create specials, promotions and special events that enhance customer experience.
  • Assist the General Manager with the oversight of the operations, including the human and financial resources as outlined.
  • Train, develop and manage all staff and new hires.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings to align the team on daily goals, specials, and service standards.
  • Monitor food and beverage inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste and spoilage.
  • Prepare a biweekly report on the track and report on inventory, sales, food cost and waste percentages, implementing strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure all the compliance in health, safety, and sanitation regulations locally.
  • Conduct regular training on food safety practices and ensure that staff maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare monthly reports on performance metrics, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency for management review.
  • Utilize guest feedback and performance data to make continuous improvements of the operations. As well as implementing customer satisfaction metrics. 
  • Develop a social media plan and promotions.  Ability to create flyers, memos, etc.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 6 years in food and beverage management, preferably in a fast paced restaurant or catering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, menu development, business administration and guest service experiences.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Safe Serv training is helpful.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Micro Soft Excel or related software along with POS Systems.  Will need to prepare memos, schedules, purchase orders, etc.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
