The Business & Employment Centre is seeking to recruit suitably qualified Food and Beverage professionals on the behalf of its client.The successful candidates will be instrumental in delivering a high level of service excellence in a mid-sized resort catering to a wide range of visitors. 1)Cook

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals per recipes and guest preferences.
  • Maintain food quality, presentation, and HACCP standards.
  • Minimize waste, ensure proper storage, and control food costs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and assist with menu creation.

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Culinary certification preferred.
  • Strong cooking skills across various methods.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long hours.
  • Team player with strong organizational skills.



2) Pastry Cook

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present baked goods and desserts.
  • Maintain quality, HACCP, and safety standards.
  • Assist with menu planning and event preparations.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and equipment upkeep.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in pastry/baking.
  • Strong knowledge of desserts and ingredients.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long hours.
  • Team player with strong organizational skills.
  • Valid Police Certificate of Character required.

 

3) Bartender

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks per standard recipes.
  • Maintain a stocked, clean, and organized bar area.
  • Greet guests, take orders, and provide beverage recommendations.
  • Monitor alcohol consumption and enforce ID checks.
  • Handle payments and follow proper cash procedures.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in bartending/mixology.
  • Certification in mixology or related training preferred.
  • Strong customer service & multitasking skills.
  • Ability to stand for long hours and lift 30 lbs.
  • Valid Police Certificate of Character required.

 

4) Waiter/Waitress

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests, present menus, and take accurate orders.
  • Serve meals and beverages while maintaining high service standards.
  • Provide menu recommendations and assist with special requests.
  • Ensure cleanliness of tables, cutlery, and dining areas.
  • Process payments and follow cash handling procedures.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in food & beverage service.
  • Strong customer service & communication skills.
  • Knowledge of menu items, allergens & POS systems.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Police Certificate of Character required.
