As the Food & Beverage Manager at Trade Winds Hotel, you'll oversee the Bay House Restaurant and Bar, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to HACCP protocols. You'll lead the Food & Beverage team, manage daily operations, and uphold high standards of the hotel that define Trade Winds Hotel.

Our restaurant offers a blend of authentic Caribbean cuisine, warm hospitality, and lively atmosphere. From our elevated vantage point, guests savor a menu crafted with fresh, local ingredients and traditional Caribbean spices. We are on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Manager for our F&B team, aiding in the continuation of delivering an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service are consistently delivered.
  • Oversee daily operations to maintain seamless service and optimize guest satisfaction.
  • Lead the training and development of our Front of House team to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage and motivate the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices whilst implementing and practicing a high degree of HACCP Standards.
  • Collaborate with the back-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
  • Assist in creating annual budgets for your department. Also responsible for maintaining costs within or below the established percentages. 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing Food & Beverage operations, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • At least 3 – 5 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or similar role in a hotel or resort environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on team development and mentorship.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality service and creating an exceptional dining experience.
  • Proficient in using technology.
