As we continue to grow, we are searching for an experienced Bakery Manager to lead our talented team and ensure the success of our operations. Role Overview:

The Bakery Manager will be a key player in driving the success of our bakery. Working closely with the Owner, this individual will oversee daily operations, ensure top-notch quality control, and bring our creative vision to life. You will be responsible for managing a dynamic team, maintaining high standards for product presentation, and optimizing bakery performance.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:** Supervise and inspire bakery staff, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency. Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment.

Production Management: Oversee daily production, manage prep lists, and handle inventory needs. Adapt to menu changes and operational demands with agility.

Effective Communication: Excel in a fast-paced kitchen environment with clear, proactive communication. Coordinate seamlessly with team members and other departments.

Product Presentation: Ensure that all bakery items are both delectable and visually appealing. Oversee product display to meet our high aesthetic standards.

Coordination: Work with the kitchen team lead to manage production schedules, staff rosters, prep lists, ingredient inventory, and supply orders.

Performance Analysis: Analyze product performance, track sales, and assess profitability. Identify staffing needs and implement strategies for growth.

Training & Feedback: Provide ongoing training and constructive feedback to staff. Promote continued education to enhance team skills and performance.

Product Development: Collaborate with upper management on new product launches and seasonal menu updates. Contribute creative ideas and insights.

Cost Control: Monitor and manage costs, reduce waste, and improve efficiency. Adapt procedures to maximize returns on investment.

Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations. Uphold rigorous cleaning standards.

Skills & Experience:

  • Food Handler’s Certificate.
  • 1-3 years of bakery management experience
  • 3-5 years as a Baker or Pastry Chef.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards
