We are a manufacturing company with over 20 years of service. We have a fleet of vehicles that service four locations across the island. Candidate must adeptly carry-out effective fleet management activities, with safety and cost efficiencies key among his/her priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all fleet activity for the organization 
  • Liaison between the fleet management contractors and the organization 
  • Ensure all vehicles are accounted for and correct routes/drivers are identified 
  • Conduct audits on vehicles ensuring (documentation present, tags updated, drivers listed, GPS info valid, fire extinguisher and first aid kits not expired) 
  • Ensures a job card is created for each maintenance item and the necessary approvals obtained 
  • Vehicles refueled and logs updated for each vehicle 
  • Work with the Warehouse Manager regarding accidents, insurance renewals, vehicle purchases, transfer of vehicles, scrapping of vehicles 
  • Ensures vehicle number stickers are in place as well as all other required signage/documentation 
  • Working with purchasing to make sure all necessary items are in place including PPE kits, first aid kits, maintenance items for trucks and forklifts 
  • Review safety reports regarding vehicles in a timely manner to ensure they are in place 
  • Provide asset list for Finance Department

    Qualifications: 
  • At least an A. Sc in Fleet Management or Logistics or related field 
  • Ideal Candidate should have at least four (4) years experience in Fleet Management
  • Strong teamwork and problem solving skills 
  • This positions require a valid General/Class C driver’s license in good standing, and a Police Record within the last 12 months
