Job Responsibilities
IP Network Engineer (also known as Fixed broadband FBB engineer)-Onsite
1. Analyze and understanding the current carrier IP network
2. Implement the solution of carrier IP network, include commissioning, acceptance test and service migration etc.
3. Maintain the carrier IP network, recover the network and make trouble-shooting if network issue happens.
4. Report the technical weekly topics of the project in time, manage the project identified risks and issues.
5. Comply all the process and rules of company and project team
6. Job Responsibility is not exclusive and may be required to carry out other job-related activities as assigned
Qualification and Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
2. Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in fixed broadband network engineering, including fiber networks, DSL, and cable technologies.
3. Proficiency in network planning, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
4. Familiarity with industry-leading equipment, routing and switching protocols, network management systems, and monitoring tools.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
7. Willingness to travel frequently to Caribbean islands, adapting to diverse cultural environments and building strong relationships with local teams.
8. Flexibility to work in fast-paced project-based environments and manage multiple priorities.
