To grow the client base of BPM Financial Ltd., by seeking out new investment clients, introducing them to the entire portfolio of investments options offered by the company, assessing their needs and matching them with the appropriate instrument.
Prospects for new clients by using a variety of strategies to ensure maximum exposure.
Collaborates with other members of the Marketing and Sales team to ensure that all prospective client’s financial needs are being met.
Educates clients regarding the range of applicable investment options available to them.
Assesses the risk tolerance of each client by gathering information regarding asset allocation, current investments, savings, and retirement goals.
Develops personally tailored investment solutions for each client by matching goals with appropriate financial plans and explaining advantages and risks involved.
Follows through on the investment actions approved by clients.
Maintains accurate and well-organized documentation of actions taken on behalf of clients
Actively seeks new clients through cold calling, networking and leads generated through digital marketing efforts and presentations/webinars
Keeps abreast of market trends and competitor products to support financial advice given to clients and to provide new ideas and recommendations to the Company with the goal of achieving better results
Participates in sales and promotional activities, special events, webinars, trade shows, conferences and projects that will lead to capturing sales leads and build greater visibility for the company and its products
Participates in the company’s public relations and marketing activities with the goal of building financial education and awareness of the BPM brand.
Captures and follows up with sales leads in accordance with established procedures
Refers prospective clients who have financial needs other than investments to the appropriate officer in the department.
Monitors investment plan performance, periodically follows up with clients to evaluate changing needs and make recommendations for revisions to portfolio and for business development (upsell)
Updates job knowledge by tracking financial markets, general economic conditions, and new financial products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional and technical publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Updates knowledge of all legal and regulatory requirements
Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
