Financial Controller 

ROLE AND FUNCTION

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, accuracy, compliance, and strategic decision-making in keeping with applicable local and international financial policies, guidelines, regulations and legislation. The incumbent will also be expected to identify and mitigate financial risks through the implementation of effective internal controls and risk management practices.

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited educational institution.
• Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) and/ or professional certifications (e.g., ACCA (minimum level III), CPA, CMA) is required.
• At least seven (7) years of senior accounting experience.
• Proficient in the use of digital accounting and payroll systems.
• Exceptional leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing and developing finance teams.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
• Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide valuable insights for decision-making.
• Current knowledge on industry trends, regulations, legislation and accounting standards to ensure compliance and adaptability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
