Financial Controller

• Strategic Leadership: Develop policies and procedures to manage financial risks and ensure compliance with regulations and accounting standards.
• Financial Management: Oversee the preparation of management accounts, financial reports, and regulatory filings.
• Control Systems: Design, implement, and monitor accounting policies, controls, and procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize risks.
• Audit Coordination: Manage financial audits, respond to findings, and implement corrective measures.
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team.

Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience & Competencies:

• Education & Experience: Chartered Accountant, MBA in Finance, MSc. Accounts, or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years in senior management.
• Knowledge: Strong expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards and a deep understanding of financial sector legislation, including the Securities Act and FSC Act.
• Skills: Exceptional leadership, time management, strategic planning, and communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software is essential.
• Personal Attributes: A tactful, professional leader with a commitment to excellence and confidentiality.
