Finance Analyst
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
- Prepare monthly financial statements, commentary, and performance indicators for the company and related entities
- Prepare the respective regulatory reports to the FSC and TAJ.
- Assist in the preparation and completion of the audited financial statements and tax returns.
- Ensure that all statutory returns are filed on a timely basis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual company budget.
- Prepare/Review monthly standard journal vouchers
- Prepare and/ or review weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
- Review reconciliations between the receivable/payable ledger and the receivables/payables control accounts.
- Ensure that income and expenses are accurately recorded in the general ledger.
- Ensure that all Investment Accounts and related Income reconciles to the general ledger
- Maintains and balances related party accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure effective maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register.
- Perform any other job-related functions assigned.
Qualification:
- First degree in Accounts, Finance or ACCA Level 2
- Good knowledge and understanding of all regulations related to the financial service industry with specific focus on the securities and pensions markets.
- Knowledge of investment, portfolio management, pension services and risk management.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
