Role Summary

Manage the finances of the company by developing, analysing and implementing financial procedures policies to develop the business of the company to achieve its stated objectives. Lead the finance team and provide analysis and support at a professional level in accordance with professional standards.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the financial management of the company and the day to day operations of the Finance department.
• Conform to and comply with the directions and regulations of the Company.
• Draft and Implement finance policies of the company.
• Prepare annual budget and monthly management accounts.
• Provide analyses re: performance against budget.
• Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance and other financial institutions.
• Ensure adequate management training and coaching of staff members on financial matters.
• Ensure high quality work and adequate levels of productivity.
• Any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Adequate progress towards completion of professional accounting designation re: ACCA or equivalent).
• A degree in accounting, finance or similar discipline.
• Knowledge and experience in general accounting software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
• Strong writing, analytical and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
