Finance Officer/Analyst

Role Summary

To manage the finance of the company by developing analysing and implementing financial procedures policies to develop the business of the company to achieve its stated objectives. This position involves leadership of the finance team and provides analysis and support at a professional level in accordance with professional standards.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares annual budget and monthly management accounts which will include analyses regarding performance against budget.
• Drafts and Implements finance policies of the Company and at all times conform to and comply with the directions and regulations of the Company.
• Exercise general control and responsibility for the financial management of the company and the day to day operations of the Finance department.
• Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance and other financial institutions.
• Management training and coaching of staff members on financial matters to ensure high financial standards and level of productivity.
• Any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACCA or equivalent).
• A degree in Accounting, finance or similar discipline.
• Efficient in general accounting software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
• Strong writing, analytical and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
