Overall objective & purpose

Accurately maintaining and servicing IGT equipment at Retailer (customer) locations and the repair area, the FST ensure the resolution of retailer issues, and handles the maintenance, installation, removal, and repair of lottery equipment. Coordinating the inventory of equipment, spare parts, and supplies at the IGT warehouse facility.

  • The role involves being a company ambassador and leading by example to promote IGT's core values and support the company's mission and vision in achieving business goals.

Principal duties & responsibilities

  • Clearly demonstrates and communicates the company’s mission, vision, values, goals, objectives and targets.
  • Responsible for transporting, installing, and maintaining IGT equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner.
  • Conducts preventative maintenance in a timely manner. Collects and screens equipment in the field. Repairs and solves problems faulty terminals and equipment.
  • Compiling and maintaining inventory of spare parts and equipment and preparing timely reports.
  • Address and resolve malfunctions in equipment to ensure it is working accurately. This may include swapping failed equipment, cleaning and/or repairing the malfunctioning component.
  • Ensure that retailer Service calls are routed to the DCA Hotline or using the software established for this purpose.
  • Pack, ship, and receive equipment to and from repair centers or other sites to support the product repair workflow.
  • Assist with installations and removals of signage and promotional materials in the points of sale.
  • Use IGT’s inventory control system to check orders against original purchase documents and ensure that shipment contents are double-checked for accuracy and inventory levels are kept.
  • In conjunction with the field services supervisor, maintain a clean, safe, and secure warehouse.
  • Provide reports on warehouse inventory and activities.
  • Conducts checks on incoming and outgoing stock for faults or defects and reports any issues to the Field Services Supervisor.
  • Enforce to IGT's vehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of the company vehicle; this includes performing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Arrange for the disposal of faulty and / or obsolete material from the warehouse.
  • Meet and work with Retailers and with members of the lottery staff to ensure customer happiness is priority.
  • Support the processes of “reception and expedition” of all materials handled at the warehouse.
  • Deliver marketing supplies, instants, and consumables such as paper, play slips, etc. to retailers and IGT sales representatives, maintaining a record of each transaction.
  • Ensures materials and equipment are stored in the accurate location and manner.
  • Deliver basic training to new retailers or employees on the use and maintenance of terminals.
  • Supports the local execution of Antilles Disaster Recovery Plan and other emergency activities, including business preparation and recovery efforts.
  • Assists the Field Services Supervisor in identifying infrastructure changes. Monitors safety and security procedures to ensure safe, effective, and efficient operations.
  • Performs any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

  • Certificate required in Electronics or Technical Services

Experience

  • 2 years’ experience in electronic repair
  • 1 year work experience in related field

Crucial requirements

  • Possess a driver’s license and clear driving record.
  • Moderate Digital Literacy skills, with experience using MS Office programs (including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Highly professional attitude with strong communication skills (verbal, written)
  • Strong organizational skills with a dedication to quality
  • Self-motivated and able to achieve results working collaboratively or independently with minimal direction.
  • Keen attention to details and accepts ownership and accountability.
  • Must be able to climb a ladder, lift and carry equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Good dexterity, must be able to reach material at or above shoulder height.
  • Highly developed social skills with a positive attitude and proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Ability to provide support in a complex environment, maintaining integrity under high pressure situations.
  • Flexible to work extended hours based on business needs.
