The individual is responsible for the implementation of strategies supporting the brand’s vision whilst maximizing on the Company’s profit margin and meeting sales target.

KEY  DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effective supervision of the Farm Store team
  • Manage operations related to the brands with the aim of propelling growth along with its development plan.
  • Keep up-to-date with consumer trends to ensure that brands remain relevant to their target market and that all initiatives support current objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy business relationship with customers and decision makers within the channels of distribution.
  • Develop and execute promotion plans with clear objectives in accordance with appropriate strategies and tactics vital for the growth of the department
  • Develop appropriate sales and  marketing strategies to execute actionable KPI’s
  • Assist with Preparing purchase orders for suppliers as required
  • Assist with Coordinating promotional activities for the division inclusive of agricultural shows and customers’ in-house events.
  • Assist with our social media pages
  • Assist with supervision of the Warehouse when required. 
  • Efficient preparation of quotation for customers as required
  • Oversee and manage cashiers – responsible for checking off cashiers at end of day transactions
  • Liaise with dispatch supervisor/s on delivery of orders
  • Ensure that Credit Note are accurately prepared and issue in timely manner
  • Vet security return log book on a weekly basis for all return invoices as required
  • Adding new inventory- assess and recommendation new products line to expand Farm Store product portfolio.
  • Supervise the overall daily running of the Farm Store as required
  • Maintain a healthy communication channel (verbal and non-verbal) with suppliers regarding product performance, orders, challenges, competitive analysis etc. on a daily/weekly/monthly basis..
  • Ensure that internal and external customers are kept abreast of new products and current promotional activities.
  • Develop and circulate to the sales team  quarterly promotional schedules and ensure their weekly execution
  • Engage in appropriate non-trade events to generate product awareness and acceptance
  • Analyze consumer trends/ information to help identify categories/ products for future growth.
  • Design special promotional activities for the Farm Store.

 REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

  • An Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ practical experience in Sales and Marketing
  • Working knowledge of chemical/ agri products, including handling and storage
  • Experience with retail and/or agriculture is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial outlook with outstanding analytical skills
