FARM MANAGER 

Job Brief:

As a Farm Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing farming activities to maximize yield and profitability. Your role involves managing resources, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate farm operations, including planting, harvesting, and distribution of produce.
• Develop and implement farming plans, schedules, and budgets to optimize productivity and profitability.
• Monitor crop yields and environmental conditions to identify issues and implement corrective measures.
• Supervise and train farm workers, contractors, and seasonal laborers.
• Maintain and repair farm equipment, machinery, and infrastructure as needed.
• Manage inventory levels of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other farm inputs.
• Keep accurate records of crop yields, expenses, and revenue.
• Monitor and control expenses to stay within budgetary limits.
• Coordinate with agronomists and other agricultural professionals as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, agronomy, or related field.
• Proven experience in farm management or agricultural production.
• Knowledge of crop cultivation and farm operations.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and delegate tasks effectively.
• Understanding of agricultural technology, machinery, and equipment.
• Financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control.
• Communication skills to interact with farm workers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting.
