The Facilities and Fleet Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all facilities, cleaning, sanitation, waste disposal, pest control and fleet Maintenance activities at ANSA Packaging.

  • Responds to all Facility Maintenance, Pest Control, Cleaning, Sanitation, Sanitization, Waste Disposal and Fleet Maintenance issues.
  • Verifies that all Pest Control, Cleaning, Sanitation, Sanitization and Waste Disposal activities are completed as per relevant maintenance schedules:
    • Supervision and oversight of Waste Disposal, Cleaning and Sanitization and Pest Control Contractors as per respective contracts.
    • Maintenance of records and development of trends for Cleaning, Sanitization, Waste Disposal and Pest Control activities in accordance with requirements of FSSC 22000 and ISO:9001.
    • Actions/corrects facility and quality non-compliances generated from internal/external audits, GMP and HSE Inspections.
    • Updates facility schematics on an annual basis.
    • Conducts inspections to verify completion of Pest Control, Cleaning, Sanitation, Sanitization and Waste Disposal activities.
    • Maintains/updates corrective action logs.
  • Oversees all facilities related projects throughout ANSA Packaging:
  • Development of Scope of Works.
  • Development of Bill of Materials/Material listings as necessary.
  • Development of CAPEX/Tender documents.
  • Supervision of contractors during execution of projects
  • Oversees all routine facility maintenance activities in accordance with developed preventative maintenance schedules. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Verification and maintenance of the asset integrity of all facilities throughout sector locations.
    • Maintenance of HVAC and air conditioning systems.
    • Maintenance of sewage system
    • Maintenance of plumbing systems
    • Maintenance of welfare conveniences in a functional and sanitary condition
    • Maintenance of drainage systems
    • Maintenance of grounds and foliage
  • Co-ordinates facilities and fleet maintenance repairs/replacement with critical stakeholders.
  • Oversees the procurement and issuance of material, tools, equipment, and consumables related to facilities and fleet maintenance activities as required.
  • Safeguards assigned equipment and tools.
  • Establish and maintain a core team of contractors in different disciplines to facilitate timely maintenance and repairs.
  • Provides supervision to Facilities Assistant, General Tradesman and assigned contractors in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Responsible for the accurate tracking, monitoring, verification, and reporting of all facilities and fleet maintenance related metrics and statistics in accordance with agreed requirements and deadlines.
  • Provides Management with recommendations and guidance regarding Facilities and Fleet Maintenance.
  • Utilises D365 to develop Purchase requisitions and receive completed invoices in accordance with Procurement Policies.
  • Conduct any other Facility and Fleet Maintenance related duties that may be assigned by the department Manager.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Facilities Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in facilities management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Facilities management experience in a Food Manufacturing Environment would be an asset.
  • Certification/ Training in food safety standards such as FSSC; 22000 and ISO; 9001 would be an asset.
  • Internal Audit training would be an asset.
  • Must be computer literate – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.).
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to provide supervision to contractors.
  • Ability to function as part of a multi-disciplined team.
  • Ability to work outside of working hours as required.
  • Excellent time-management, planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to utilize AutoCAD would be an asset.
