The incumbent executes the company’s annual facilities maintenance and repair plans in all stores and buildings, managed and operated by Company, in a manner that is consistent with the company’s objectives and in conformance to standards.

POSITION:	The incumbent reports directly to the Facilities Manager.

SUMMARY: The incumbent executes the company’s annual facilities maintenance and repair plans in all stores and buildings, managed and operated by Prestige Holdings Limited, in a manner that is consistent with the company’s objectives and in conformance to standards. The incumbent manages and ensures that all maintenance works are in line with budget.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Conducts periodic checks on all structures for structural cracks and all areas of building maintenance and repairs and prepares a plan to address same in consultation with the Facilities Manager, in line with approved cost.

• Continually works with the appointed service provider to develop Preventative Maintenance schedules to efficiently service the plumbing and waste treatment systems regularly and systematically.

• Oversees the servicing of the air conditioning and venting systems and all associated ducting and fittings by the contracted service providers.

• Works with the Operations Manager, RGM, Area Coach and Services Manager (with respect to electrical work) to identify areas of priority and prepares schedules to address same in line with approved cost.

• Based on the identified works, obtains a minimum of three (3) quotations from service providers, with the final quotation being approved by the Facilities Manager, in conjunction with the Services Manager.

• Collaborates with the Facilities Manager with a view to providing solutions to overall restaurant maintenance requirements and developing a holistic preventative maintenance schedule.

• Assesses the needs of each restaurant, estimates the associated costs and submits a report of same to the Facilities Manager, prior to the end of each financial year, November 30.

• Conducts regular inspections of the facility to identify any maintenance or repair needs and address them promptly.

• Maintains an inventory of plumbing items (pitcher rinser, water towers, knee valve pedal, sink faucets etc.) through the Warehouse, necessary for facility maintenance and repair activities.

• Assists with special projects related to facility improvements or Image Enhancements as needed.

• Performs other related duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in facilities management, HVAC, plumbing or electrical is preferred

• Two - three (3) years experience in the Facilities Management
