The FTTH Project Manager manages, integrates, coordinates and reviews the work of the Project Controls team to develop, implement, feed, reconcile, and maintain valuable program control databases and reports
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical interaction and project implementation management, delivery plan, delivery progress and daily communication with end customers, subcontractor, local/remote engineers.
- Manage and output daily and weekly project progress reports.
- QC standard output and QC control
- Support fiber design modification and update
- On site supervisor and manager subcontractor
- EHS training and manager
- Project warehouse and file manager
Position Requirements:
Basic
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Systems, Informatics, or Telecommunications
- 5+ years working experience in FTTH project delivery and management
- PMP certificate is mandatory
- Advanced FTTH, GPON, Microsoft Office, Project management software skills
- Proficient in English language
- Must be able to legally work in Guyana or Suriname/CSME Skill Certificate mandatory for Caricom nationals
Professional Knowledge
- Familiar with 12 knowledge areas of project management
- Technical Knowledge based in Fiber, GPON, FTTH including implementation, OTDR test, Power test, Quality control
Key Skillset:
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
- Good problem solving abiities, fast learner
- Team player, working with a cross functional team
- Open to embrace new change
