Experienced Yacht Captain

Luxury yacht charter business seeking experienced luxury yacht Captain for day charter operations on the North Coast for yachts less than 60 ft.

Job Overview:

This position is ideal for a hands-on, service-driven professional who is passionate about the sea and skilled in managing luxury day charters. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record operating motor yachts under 15 meters in the Caribbean and will be responsible for the safe navigation of the vessel, top-tier guest service, and onboard crew leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Command and operate luxury yachts (under 15 meters) for daily and short overnight private charters.

• Ensure all operations are compliant with local maritime regulations and international safety standards.

• Manage and direct onboard crew members to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Create safe, enjoyable, and memorable experiences for all guests.

• Perform and oversee basic vessel maintenance, cleanliness, and readiness for charters.

• Communicate effectively with booking coordinators and shore staff.

• Prepare basic documentation such as voyage logs, guest reports, and maintenance logs.

Qualifications:

• Valid Captain’s License applicable for vessels under 15 meters.

• Minimum 5 years of experience captaining in the Caribbean (experience in USVI, BVI, or Barbados is a strong asset).

• Knowledge of marine engines, navigation systems, and safety protocols.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

• Fluent in English with excellent communication ability.

• Customer-service focused with a calm and professional demeanor.
