Position Overview

Experienced driver with law enforcement/security background needed for 24/7 on-call transportation of public officials and business executives. Position requires valid driver's license, proven defensive driving skills, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality while ensuring safe and timely transportation services. 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation services
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational readiness
• Plan optimal routes considering security protocols
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
• Maintain complete confidentiality
• Monitor surroundings for potential security concerns
• Maintain schedule of destinations and appointments
• Coordinate with security personnel as needed
• Demonstrate knowledge of Jamaican roads and alterante routes 

Required Qualifications

• Valid Jamaican driver's license with a clean record
• Minimum 5 years professional driving experience
• Background in law enforcement, military, or private security
• Clean criminal record
• Excellent defensive driving skills
• Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns 
• First aid certification
• Licensed firearm holder

Working Conditions

• 24/7 on-call availability required
• Irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Extended periods of sitting and driving
• Regular security clearance checks required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to assist with luggage and equipment
• Physical fitness to respond to emergency situations
• Vision requirements per driver's license regulations

Salary

• JMD $200,000 per month (gross)
