Executive Chef – Café and Bistro
A Cafe and Bistro with 2 locations in Kingston is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead and oversee their culinary operations. The Executive Chef will be responsible for maintaining consistency in recipe execution, ensuring high-quality food standards, and supervising kitchen staff. This role includes managing inventory, controlling food costs, and training chefs to follow our established recipes. The Executive Chef will collaborate closely with management to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold our brand’s standards across both locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and ensure accurate execution of all recipes.
• Manage and train kitchen staff across two locations.
• Maintain high-quality food preparation and presentation standards.
• Monitor inventory, food costs, and kitchen efficiency.
• Work with management to update menus and develop new recipes as needed.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple locations and maintain consistency.
