Events Specialist

The Events Specialist will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Ocho Rios for an Events Specialist. The Events Specialist will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events for Moon Palace, Jamaica. The Events Specialist will collaborate with various departments to ensure successful events and provide excellent customer service to attendees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications or related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least 3 years of event planning and coordination experience
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various departments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as needed
• Experience in hospitality industry is a plus
• Sales experience is a plus
