Estate Caretaker/Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Estate Caretaker to manage and maintain a five-acre property. This is a full-time, live-in position with housing provided on the estate. 

The caretaker will be responsible for landscaping duties, crop management, citrus care, and the general upkeep of the property. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, patient, and capable of working independently. 

Preference will be given to candidates with families, as stability and long-term commitment are highly valued.

Accommodation Provided:

	•	Fully furnished two-bedroom apartment.
	•	All utilities (electricity, water, internet, etc.) are included.
	•	The caretaker will reside on the property as part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

	•	Grounds Maintenance: Regularly mow lawns using a lawnmower, trim overgrown areas with a brush cutter, and maintain the overall cleanliness and aesthetics of the property.
	•	Agriculture & Crop Management: Plant and maintain short crops on the estate. Ensure the health and care of existing citrus trees, including pruning, fertilizing, and harvesting when necessary.
	•	General Property Care: Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs as needed to keep the property in excellent condition. Notify the property owner of any larger issues that require attention.
	•	Equipment Handling: Safely and efficiently operate all gardening and landscaping equipment, including lawnmowers, brush cutters, and other relevant tools.
	•	Security & Supervision: Ensure the estate is secure, report any unusual activity, and manage access to the property.

Qualifications:

	•	Proven experience in landscaping, gardening, and general estate maintenance.
	•	Knowledge of agricultural practices, including short crop planting and citrus cultivation.
	•	Ability to operate tools and machinery such as brush cutters, lawnmowers, and other landscaping equipment.
	•	Strong attention to detail, with a patient and reliable work ethic.
	•	Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
	•	Preference will be given to applicants with families for long-term stability.

Additional Information:

	•	This is a live-in position, with a fully furnished two-bedroom apartment provided on the estate.
	•	All utilities (electricity, water, and internet) are included in the package.
	•	The successful candidate (and their family, if applicable) will be expected to reside on the property full-time.
