Advantage Fleet & Auto Ltd. is seeking applicants for the position of Equipment Mechanic.  Key Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Perform high level repairs on all types of equipment (trucks, cars, forklifts, excavators, woodchippers etc.).
• Troubleshoot/diagnose faults and executing repairs.
• Be able to manage time and workload effectively and independently.
• Maintain meticulous records using computerized software.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• ASE certification in T2 (Diesel Engines) or equivalent.
• Certification in Automotive Technology.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of OBD, OBD2, J1708, J1939 and J1587 protocol.
• Advanced knowledge of the use of diagnostic equipment.
• Welding and fabrication experience would be an asset.
• Ability to work unsupervised, flexible hours and at various client locations.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.
• Applicants must be flexible to the demands of the business during evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Bermuda Intermediate Driver’s License

The position requires the skill and flexibility to work on various types of equipment & vehicles.  Applicants will be required to undergo a skills test.
