Emergency Medical Technician
Job Description:
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide pre-hospital care to patients.
- Attending scenes of accidents or incidents.
- Assess patients' conditions and determine necessary care and transportation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Administer emergency medical treatment including CPR, wound care, and medication administration as prescribed.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and emergency responders
- Safely transport patients to healthcare facilities while continuously monitoring their condition.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and equipment used.
- Other duties required .
Qualification/Education:
- Valid EMT certification and current CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or education in emergency medical services is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment if necessary.
Special Requirements:
- Must be willing to work on weekends
