Electrical Technician B - Maintenance

We are inviting applicants to fill the position of Electrical Technician B. This position will require the incumbent to maintain the Company’s plant, equipment and facilities in accordance with established standards, specifications and approved procedures. This is a shift position.

 SOME KEY DUTIES

• Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance checks, inspections and repairs on electrical plant and equipment in accordance with the requirements of the approved maintenance schedule.
• Troubleshoot and rectify routine electrical plant and equipment problems in accordance with established standards, specifications and procedures.
• Experience with troubleshooting PLCs.
• Experience with wiring, cabling and other electrical installations.
• Provide assistance in the installation and testing of electrical plant, equipment and auxiliaries.
• Carry out basic welding and fabricating functions required to achieve maintenance work targets.
• Compile maintenance records and reports in accordance with approved company procedures and procedures.
• Participate in the conduct of maintenance projects as required.
• Identify and report real and potential issues and non-conformances and suggest possible solutions.
• Understand and adhere to the Company’s established good manufacturing practices (GMPs), Food Safety and Quality requirements.
• Actively promote, support and comply with Kiss Baking Company Limited’s established Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and industry best practices;
• Performs any other job-related duties as directed by Supervisor/Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Techinician diploma in M.E.E.T. or E.E.E.T. or higher.
• Suitable combination of training and work experience (3-5 years) in the manufacturing industry
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions in a timely manner
• Willingness to rotate in a three (3) shift system
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
